Spirax Sarco's signing of the Copenhagen Communiqué

Spirax Sarco's Chief Executive Officer, Mark Vernon recently signed the Copenhagen Communiqué on Climate change alongside over 500 International and UK companies.

Ed Milliband, UK Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, stated: ‘The communiqué is a message to governments stating that a large part of the business community calls for an ambitious, robust and equitable global deal on climate change’.

This is a crucial year for the climate change agenda, which, it is hoped, will culminate in a new international climate deal being signed at the conference in Copenhagen in December.
